iPhone stolen in Saudi Arabia: who to call

Short answerFrom another phone or a computer, mark your iPhone as lost at icloud.com/find. Then block your SIM with your network, and call your bank. If you're in danger, call 999 first.

Take a breath, and ask someone to help if you can. We read each number below on an official page on 3 November 2026. Where it's a regulator's or government page rather than the company's own, the note says so. Numbers change, so if one doesn't work, use the official page beside it. Numbers that only work from your own network's phone won't help until you have a SIM again, so look for another way to reach them. Call costs vary.

First steps

  1. Mark your iPhone as lost at icloud.com/find. Here's the full plan.
  2. Block your SIM with your network, so nobody else can receive your login codes. Ask how to get your own codes or a replacement SIM.
  3. Call your banks and e-wallets, and ask them to protect your accounts.
  4. Report it to the police and ask about blocking the phone.

Report it to the police

If you are not in danger, report the theft at the nearest police station. The Saudi national portal refused our connection, so we could not read the official reporting pages and list no non-emergency number or online option.

Block the phone

We could not confirm a national block for stolen phones in Saudi Arabia. Zain says its device-lock service works through a store visit. You need your phone's IMEI, proof you own it, and a signed declaration, and your Zain number must have been used on the phone in the last month. We could not read Mobily's or stc's pages on this, and the regulator's pages gave nothing on it, so we can't say if any block works on other networks. Suspend your SIM, and lock the phone with Find My.

Use their official help page.
Visit a Zain flagship store with the phone's 15-digit IMEI, proof of ownership such as the purchase invoice and warranty card from an official dealer, and fill in a device lock declaration. The page doesn't say what the lock covers, or give a fee.
